Dr. Kenneth B. Chance is the Dean of the School of Dental Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Fordham University, in NYC and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Case Western Reserve University, School of Dental Medicine (CWRU). He received postgraduate training at the Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, General Practice Residency Program, in NYC, and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) – New Jersey School in Endodontics. Dr. Chance remained at the UMDNJ-New Jersey School for seventeen years as a faculty member and administrator. His appointments included: Head of the Department of Endodontics, Assistant Dean for External Affairs, and University Federal Relations Advisor. He was Chief of Endodontics at the Kings County Medical Center in NYC for ten years. Dr. Chance was Director for the Health Policy Program at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies and the Health Policy Aide to United States Senator Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ), both in Washington, DC. Dr. Chance served as Dean and Professor at the Meharry Medical College, School of Dentistry, in Nashville, Tennessee before arriving to the University of Kentucky five years ago. He has served on major committees including: the Institute of Medicine Committee on National Institutes of Health Research Priority Setting Process, Chairman of the American Dental Education Association Section on Minority Affairs, and Chairman of the Governor’s Oral Health Policy 2000 Advisory Committee for New Jersey. He was elected Member-At-Large of the Administrative Board of the Council of Deans of the American Dental Education Association in 1999.

She has published several articles in reputed journals supervising master thesis as an acting program director for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Master Degree in Riyadh College of Dentistry.

Hance Clarke MD PhD FRCPC is an anesthesiologist and hyperbaric physician who received a B.Sc (Honours) in Physiology and Psychology from the University of Western Ontario, and a MSc. in Neuroscience from the University of Toronto. After his medical doctor (MD) and anesthesia subspecialty training in Toronto he received his PhD from the Institute of Medical Sciences at the University of Toronto.

His areas of interest include the transition from acute to chronic pain and hyperbaric medicine.

Mehmet Ömer Görduysus (DDS, PhD, Professor, Endodontist) was born in Istanbul. Graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Dentistry with the degree of DDS, completed his Post-graduate Program in Endodontics in the United States at the University of Southern California with the scholarship of Turkish Goverment and received the title of "Specialist in Endodontics. Later he received his PhD degree in Endodontics from Hacettepe University, Ankara-Turkey and went to ACTA of Amsterdam with the scholarship of the Goverment of the Netherlands (given by NUFFIC), after that became invited professor and lecturer, clinical instructor at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Endodontics in Canada two academic years. Following his return to Turkey he became tenured professor in Hacettepe University, Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Endodontics in Ankara and Convener of Graduate Endo. Studied in the field of research and has many publications in SCI covered besides the some local and international journals, vice president of Animal Research Ethics Committee Hacettepe University and giving national and international lectures and courses, convener of graduate endo clinic, editorships (Former Editor in Chief of Clinical Dentistry and Research) also translating and authorship for book chapters. As actual position professor in University of Sharjah, College of Dentistry in United Arab Emirates, besides his position in Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry Department of Endodontics,Ankara-Turkey giving lectures, working in the field of research, pre-clinical and clinical, graduate teaching, supervising and instructorship since August 31,2014 in UAE.

Dr. Fouad Hussain M H Al-Bayaty obtained his PhD in Periodontics in 1984 from France. He is currently Professor of Periodontology at Universiti Teknologi MARA-UiTM, Malaysia. Dr. Fouad published several articles in peer-reviewed journals. He published a number of research papers in National and International Journals. He is also an External Reviewer for a number of journals, including Journal of Natural Product Research, Journal of African Biotechnology and African journal of Food Science. He has 2 patents on his name. Dr. Fouad is an invited speaker to a number of national and international conferences and scientific meetings. He has presented seminars, lectures, continuing education programs and courses in Periodontology and Oral Diseases.

Dr Abhishek Parolia has served as an assistant professor and reader in Manipal University and currently working as a senior lecturer in International Medical University, Kuala Lumpur. He graduated from Manipal University and perused his masters in the field of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics at the same university. He was awarded a gold medal in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. He has been very active in practicing Endodontics for more than 10 years and has a vast experience of rotary endodontics and retreatment cases. He is also actively involved in research and received Research Incentive Award in 2010 and 2011 from Manipal University and Marquis Award (USA) in 2011. He received an award for his significant contribution as a newcomer in the School of Dentistry, International Medical University, Malaysia in 2011. He was also awarded for his Invaluable contribution in leading ICDAS initiative from the school of Dentistry, International Medical University in 2014 and with E-learning Innovation Award (Team category) in 2016. He is a member of ICDAS National Benchmark Group, Malaysia. He has published many scientific papers in national and international peer-reviewed journals and authored chapters “Diagnosis in Endodontics” in the book entitled Essentials of Endodontics, published in 2012 by Quintessence India and “Propolis and its implications in oral health” in the book entitled Beneficial Effects of Propolis on Human Health and Chronic Diseases. He is a Professor at University of Jordan; Senior Consultant at Jordan University Hospital; Professor, City of London Dental School, London, UK; Associate fellow at Warwick University, UK; Advisory team member of DoooX Dentistry et all, DooIT GmbH, Germany; President of the Jordanian Society of Prosthodontics; Visiting Professor at Aljouf University, KSA; and member of the executive committee of the Jordanian Council of Implantology. Mehmet Sarikaya (Prof. in Oral Health Sciences) is known for his pioneering efforts and ideas in Molecular Biomimetics. By merging recent advances in molecular biology and genetics with state-of-the-art engineering and nanocharacterization from the physical sciences, his and his collaborators’ goal is to shift the biomimetic materials science paradigm from imitating Nature to designing materials to perform artificial nanofunctions. It is the intent to combine Nature’s proven molecular tools, such as proteins, with synthetic nanoscale constructs to make molecular biomimetics a full-fledged methodology. To this end, at the Genetically Engineered Materials Science and Engineering Center, an NSF-MRSEC, Sarikaya is directing a multidisciplinary team with diverse expertise to genetically select inorganic-binding short polypeptides, tailoring them via molecular manipulation and bioinformatics to make heterofunctional molecular constructs and using them as synthesizers, assemblers, and molecular erectors in materials science and medicine.

Dr. Cary Ganz graduated from N.Y.U. College of Dentistry in 1970 and received his Prosthodontic credentials from Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in 1973. Until recently he was Co-Chief of Implant Dentistry and the Implant Fellowship Program at North Shore University Hospital – Long Island Jewish Medical Center. From 1998 - 2001 Dr. Ganz was an owner and Vice President of DEXIS Digital Radiography and has been involved in this technology for over 15 years. Dr. Ganz is the author of “I Love My Dentist” The Secret to Providing an Exceptional Patient Experience as well as numerous articles on a variety of topics including implant prosthodontics, lasers, practice management, advanced dental technologies and the Internet. He has lectured nationally and internationally and is on the advisory board and consultant to several dental manufacturers. He was also the Vice President of PlanetDDS, the creator and distributor of Denticon Practice Management Systems and DentiGramtm, a new patient communication program.
