President/Founder of Dental Specialties Institute, Inc. and have been serving in the dental profession for over 30 years. She is a certified instructor for both the American Red Cross and the American Health and Safety Institute. DSI is an approved national training site of American Health and Safety Institute. Her courses are approved by the Dental Board of California as well as DANB for providing continuing educational services.

Oral Health.

Dr. Kenneth B. Chance is the Dean of the School of Dental Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Fordham University, in NYC and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Case Western Reserve University, School of Dental Medicine (CWRU). He received postgraduate training at the Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, General Practice Residency Program, in NYC, and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) – New Jersey School in Endodontics. Dr. Chance remained at the UMDNJ-New Jersey School for seventeen years as a faculty member and administrator. His appointments included: Head of the Department of Endodontics, Assistant Dean for External Affairs, and University Federal Relations Advisor. He was Chief of Endodontics at the Kings County Medical Center in NYC for ten years. Dr. Chance was Director for the Health Policy Program at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies and the Health Policy Aide to United States Senator Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ), both in Washington, DC. Dr. Chance served as Dean and Professor at the Meharry Medical College, School of Dentistry, in Nashville, Tennessee before arriving to the University of Kentucky five years ago. He has served on major committees including: the Institute of Medicine Committee on National Institutes of Health Research Priority Setting Process, Chairman of the American Dental Education Association Section on Minority Affairs, and Chairman of the Governor’s Oral Health Policy 2000 Advisory Committee for New Jersey. He was elected Member-At-Large of the Administrative Board of the Council of Deans of the American Dental Education Association in 1999.

Dr. Salwa Atwan teaches didactic and clinical courses in Pediatric Dentistry. Additional responsibilities including chair or member of many standing committees. Published scientific articles and presents continual education courses. A member of numerous national and international professional organizations and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Atwan is a consultant at the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and an attending staff at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Her research interest focused in the medicament of the pulp and prevention. Dr. Atwan received her D.D.S. from the University of Detroit Mercy, her M.S. and a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University Of Nebraska Medical Center and a Certificate of Dentistry for the Disabled from the University of Washington/Seattle

Tooth Care for Babies and Toddlers.

Mehmet Sarikaya (Prof. in Oral Health Sciences) is known for his pioneering efforts and ideas in Molecular Biomimetics. By merging recent advances in molecular biology and genetics with state-of-the-art engineering and nanocharacterization from the physical sciences, his and his collaborators’ goal is to shift the biomimetic materials science paradigm from imitating Nature to designing materials to perform artificial nanofunctions. It is the intent to combine Nature’s proven molecular tools, such as proteins, with synthetic nanoscale constructs to make molecular biomimetics a full-fledged methodology. To this end, at the Genetically Engineered Materials Science and Engineering Center, an NSF-MRSEC, Sarikaya is directing a multidisciplinary team with diverse expertise to genetically select inorganic-binding short polypeptides, tailoring them via molecular manipulation and bioinformatics to make heterofunctional molecular constructs and using them as synthesizers, assemblers, and molecular erectors in materials science and medicine.

Dr. Fouad Hussain M H Al-Bayaty obtained his PhD in Periodontics in 1984 from France. He is currently Professor of Periodontology at Universiti Teknologi MARA-UiTM, Malaysia. Dr. Fouad published several articles in peer-reviewed journals. He published a number of research papers in National and International Journals. He is also an External Reviewer for a number of journals, including Journal of Natural Product Research, Journal of African Biotechnology and African journal of Food Science. He has 2 patents on his name. Dr. Fouad is an invited speaker to a number of national and international conferences and scientific meetings. He has presented seminars, lectures, continuing education programs and courses in Periodontology and Oral Diseases.

Dr. Cary Ganz graduated from N.Y.U. College of Dentistry in 1970 and received his Prosthodontic credentials from Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in 1973. Until recently he was Co-Chief of Implant Dentistry and the Implant Fellowship Program at North Shore University Hospital – Long Island Jewish Medical Center. From 1998 - 2001 Dr. Ganz was an owner and Vice President of DEXIS Digital Radiography and has been involved in this technology for over 15 years. Dr. Ganz is the author of “I Love My Dentist” The Secret to Providing an Exceptional Patient Experience as well as numerous articles on a variety of topics including implant prosthodontics, lasers, practice management, advanced dental technologies and the Internet. He has lectured nationally and internationally and is on the advisory board and consultant to several dental manufacturers. He was also the Vice President of PlanetDDS, the creator and distributor of Denticon Practice Management Systems and DentiGramtm, a new patient communication program. Currently Dr. Ganz is the President of DentalAssets, an online portal for dentists and dental staff.Dr. Ganz also maintains an active private Prosthodontic practice specializing in Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry in Garden City, N.Y.

Anderson de Oliveira Paulo performed his PhD at the Paulista State University (UNESP). He is Endodontics Professor of the Faculty of Sciences of Tocantins (FACIT). He is a visiting Professor at the University of Brasilia (UNB). He has published several papers in journals. He is co-author of a book and autor of five chapters in five books. He was in 2016 the president of the 8th. International Congress of the Brazilian Society of Endodontics (SBENDO).

Mohannad El Akabawi has completed his M.Sc. at the age of 30 years from Cairo University.German board in implants, Fellowships from Genova university in Italy in laser and esthetic dentistry.He is the youngest certified dentist in Africa and Middle East from Pinhole Academy of implant dentistry.He is the founder and CEO of Smile Care Center in Cairo.He is also the youngest Egyptian international speaker in laser technology
